    VSDC Video Editor is a free non-linear video editor that allows you to edit and create a video for free without any watermarks or ads. VSDC Video editor also has a paid version which has some additional features compared to the Free Version. But in this post, I will only be covering VSDC free version.   • DirectX: >9.0C

  • Hard Disk Space: >300MB
    VSDC video editor has all the basic features which are common in most video editors like layers, trimming or cutting clips, merging different clips, re-adjusting clips or images, adding audio, adding transition, adjusting the duration of the clips (speed up or down), rotating clips and also include many other basic features.

Some of the Main Features

    Color Correction: is one of the newest features of the VSDC Video Editor. Color Correction in VSDC video editor offers various color curves like RGB Curves, Hue Saturation Curves, YUV curves, and Basic Correction features where you can make use of LUT, Brightness, Gamma, Contrast, Sharpness, Saturation, and Blur. To access the color correction feature go to File > View > Basic Effects Window or press ctrl+6.

    Chroma Key: With the free edition you can use a single color (green) for green screen editing

    Formats & Codec: Supports all the popular image, audio, and video formats & codecs

    Masking: VSDC Free Video Editor allows creating different shaped masks for hiding, blurring, or highlighting certain elements like a face in your video.
      
    Voice Over: With VSDC built-in voice-over tool you can record audio for any duration. The voice-over tool of VSDC supports a wide variety of output formats.
    
    Video Capture: You can use VSDC editor to capture webcam videos or any other cameras connected to your system
