Downloading & Installation

To download the OpenShot video editor go to https://www.openshot.org/ or click here and click on the downloads button.

Next, select the OS you want and click on the Download button to download the software

After downloading, go to the downloads folder and double-click on the installation file to start the installation. Once the installation is complete open the software,

Adding Media Files

To add media files, You can choose three different ways

• The first method is to go to files and select import files

• The next method is by clicking on the import plus button

• The last method is by Right-clicking on the project window and then selecting the option import files to import the media.

Next, browse through you're folders and select all the files that you want by holding down Ctrl and then, click on open to import all the selected files.

Sorting Media Files

To sort the media files based on their type, you can click on the video button for video files, the audio button for audio files, and the image button for image files

Previewing Media Files

To preview the imported media files, select the file that you want to preview and then right-click on it, and then select the option Preview file.
